sorry for the lack of update- a lot has been happening! since may aaron has been in LA interning at the directors bureau, working on some exciting projects with some really stand up folks. he recently co-directed a submission for a built by wendy online ad campaign with fellow tdb intern, sebastian pardo. this wee vignette features rousing performances from our friends lowell frank and elizabeth warn.

we here at the aapc love stories. we love telling them, filming them and singing them – we also love listening to them (and providing musical scores for them!). enter the people’s program project. it’s a sweet new podcast created by our friend elianna lev (a very talented journalist and storyteller). the aapc contributed the music for the first episode and aaron will be the music director from here on out – so if you dig intriguing/hilarious/heart warming stories as much as we do and want to hear our ongoing original music contributions then subscribe on iTunes today!

we’ve got a new run of architects never sleep t-shirts freshly printed and for sale at our friend anne’s sweet little design and architecture store on main street called vancouver special – be sure to pick up a shirt while they last and browse the coolest books and furniture you’ve ever seen.

we are pleased to be working with the very lovely and very talented, ADALINE of vancouver,bc. the aapc will be fashioning an out-of-site EPK video for her which hopes to elicit the fragrant potpourri of her passion for creating music and putting on an A+ show. look for a completed video in early march.

tis the season to be jolly and make gingerbread houses! as such, the AAPC has entered a gingerbread design competition and auction fundraiser.

all proceeds go toward PIVOT LEGAL SOCIETY… who employ a strategic approach to social change, using the law to address the root causes that undermine the quality of the life of those most on the margins (such as homelessness, addiction, and untreated mental health issues). vancouver’s downtown eastside is not only the poorest postal code in canada but also the site of great suffering amidst a city of great wealth.

so… good fun for a good cause! there are 3 ways you can help…. 1- buy a ticket to the gala auction event… 2- bid on our creation! …. 3- send out some heartfelt good vibes to the event. the more successful the event the more we can raise to help pivot.
